Last week, cross-ING was part of the Digital Leaders Conference 2026 hosted at PwC Switzerland in Zurich — an event that brought together leading experts from technology, industry and business to discuss the future of Artificial Intelligence and its practical implementation within companies.
We are especially proud that Dr. Marc Heggemann, Chief Competence Center Digital at cross-ING, moderated the panel discussion “AI at Scale – From Hype to Value”.
Together with distinguished representatives from Microsoft Switzerland, Datwyler Group, SRG SSR, PwC Switzerland and Galenica, the discussion focused on how companies can move from AI hype to measurable business value. Topics such as scaling AI initiatives, increasing efficiency, ROI of AI investments and organisational challenges were at the center of the conversation.
In addition to strategic perspectives, the conference offered numerous practical insights into real-world AI applications. Particularly exciting were the contributions from Axpo Group on the use of AI in the energy sector, as well as discussions around integrating AI into existing products and business processes.
For cross-ING, the event provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas with experts from a wide range of industries — from manufacturing and finance to technology and energy.
