What started as a bachelor's thesis has now been presented to an international audience at the  International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026) in Antalya, Türkiye.

Joel Tan presented his first scientific paper, "Simulation-based Design of an Additively Manufactured Biliquid Coaxial Swirl Injector," sharing his research with experts from across the global space industry.

At cross-ING, we are proud to have contributed to this journey. Together with ETH Zürich, the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI), and ARIS, we supported the research project. Our expert Dr. Markus Schmidt provided technical guidance as an advisor and co-author.

Beyond the presentation, IAC 2026 offered valuable insights into the latest developments in space exploration, from advanced propulsion technologies to future lunar missions.

👏 Congratulations to Joel on this important milestone! We are delighted to have contributed our engineering expertise to his research and wish him continued success at Stanford University.
