cross-ING expands: New location in French-speaking Switzerland

Bienvenue en Romandie! With the opening of a new location in the canton of Vaud, cross-ING is now also represented in French-speaking Switzerland. This is a clear sign that we are continuing to expand our presence in all language regions of Switzerland and that we are close to our customers.

Julian Seiler, the new site manager, has many years of experience in engineering and knows the needs of the local market. ‘I am fascinated by the strong industry in the region - especially precision mechanics, medical technology and the proximity to international companies,’ says Seiler.

With the new location, cross-ING is not only expanding its geographical proximity to existing customers, but also aims to establish new partnerships in western Switzerland. "The demand for flexible, high-quality engineering services is there - but the service provider landscape is still not very diversified. This offers opportunities," says Seiler.

The establishment of the site is supported by the proven cross-ING structures: Interdisciplinary teams, regional proximity and the ability to provide engineering knowledge where it is needed - quickly, flexibly and with genuine expertise.

We are delighted to be opening a new chapter with Vaud - and to have a site manager in Julian Seiler who lives our values: pragmatic, solution-orientated, based on partnership.

What appeals to you about the role of site manager at cross-ING?

I have been fascinated by the world of engineering since I was a child - especially the innovative power and creative spirit. I am particularly motivated by interdisciplinary collaboration - a real strength of the industry. cross-ING embodies precisely this approach by combining expertise from very different engineering disciplines - that is the heart of ‘cross engineering’. As the new site manager of cross-ING Vaud, I now have the opportunity to combine my passion for technology with my entrepreneurial drive.

How will you organise your team?

The canton of Vaud is characterised by a diverse industry - from innovative start-ups to dynamic SMEs and established large companies. To do justice to this diversity, I will build an interdisciplinary team - with specialists in the fields of mechanical development, software, hardware and other specialisms - and strengthen our expertise in strategic areas such as automation, design and conformity of medical technology and sustainability. This approach should help our customers to secure their competitiveness in the long term.

What are your goals for the cross-ING Vaud site?

The opening of our site in the canton of Vaud is an important step in our expansion into French-speaking Switzerland. My aim is to firmly establish cross-ING in the region over the next two years and make Vaud a growth driver for our services in French-speaking Switzerland. It is precisely these partnerships between industry and cross-ING Vaud that should become the real strength of the location.
