The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. It conducts cutting-edge research in the fields of matter and materials, man and health, and energy and the environment. Through basic and applied research, sustainable solutions are developed for key issues in society, the economy and science.

Anaxam was founded in 2019 by the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), the Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI) and the Canton of Aargau. Anaxam offers industry access to advanced analytical methods using neutron and synchrotron radiation (X-rays), primarily at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), which were originally developed for basic research.

Switzerland Innovation Park Central promotes collaboration between companies, start-ups and universities for innovations in the building and energy sector. Together with partners, an ecosystem is formed that accelerates the translation of research results into marketable products and services.

MaXerial uses X-ray analytics and AI to explain materials. Industrial computed tomography enables a 3D view into the component without preparation. This allows internal structures and hidden defects to be uncovered, inspected and analysed.

The Business Parc Reinach is a competence centre for business start-ups. Operated by the Reinach Regional Start-up Centre Foundation, the Business Parc offers free advice on setting up companies and rents out ready-to-occupy office space for start-ups with comprehensive support services.

As an implementation partner, cross-ING AG is constantly involved in the further development of PQFORCE and thus helps to keep the tool up to date.
