Anaxam was founded in 2019 by the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), the Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI) and the Canton of Aargau. Anaxam offers industry access to advanced analytical methods using neutron and synchrotron radiation (X-rays), primarily at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), which were originally developed for basic research.
